Ethan Chan is a first-year Business Administration student concentrating in Marketing at CSUF! He has continuously been an active participant in AMA with his bright energy and easy-going personality. A fun fact about him is that he ran a marathon in his junior year of high school!
What has your experience been like with AMA so far?
"My experience with AMA so far has been nothing short of spectacular! I’ve learned so much about how to be a successful marketer and what it takes to succeed in this competitive field. I’ve made lifelong friends along the way as well."
What is your favorite part about being an AMA member?
"My favorite part about being an AMA member has to be the exclusive opportunities that come out of this club. From workshops teaching you how to build your resume/LinkedIn to gaining different opportunities for potential internships, AMA has provided me with so many different tools to succeed."
What has been your favorite AMA event so far?
"My favorite AMA event so far has been the entirety of ICC, as I learned more about what it takes to be a good marketer and have the chance to network with many different companies and peers from all over the country. ICC brought me closer to my club as well and gave me memories I will never forget."

What has your experience been like with AMA so far?
"My experience with AMA has been amazing! I’ve learned so much and had the opportunity to meet some of the kindest, most fun, and supportive people."
What is your favorite part about being an AMA member?
"My favorite part about being an AMA member is meeting so many new people through different programs and events. I also love how AMA offers a great mix of networking and workshop events, along with social events, making it easy to learn and connect with others in a fun way. As the Assistant of Fundraising, I’ve had the opportunity to expand my skills, work with an amazing team, and create lasting friendships along the way."
What has been your favorite AMA event so far?
"My favorite AMA events have to be the beach bonfires and Marketing Week!"
Lucas Cahill is a fourth-year Business Administration major concentrating in Marketing at CSUF who has demonstrated AMA-zing qualities through his welcoming personality and admirable ambition! A fun fact about him is that he enjoys building Gundams!
What has your experience been like with AMA so far?
"My experience with AMA has been really beneficial! There are a lot of great people with a similar interest. I have gained a ton of insight from them that I otherwise wouldn’t have had."
What is your favorite part about being an AMA member?
"My favorite part of AMA is honestly the social aspect! I feel that what people going to a major-related club like this says about them is that they are driven and wish to further their goals at CSUF. This energy is one I prefer in people and gives a stronger sense of community that commuter schools are thought to lack. "
What has been your favorite AMA event so far?
"My favorite event at AMA was definitely last semester with Jake from IW group and Newt from Kura! They are both super transparent and were great to talk to and learn from."
Stephanie Ordonez is a second-year Political Science major at CSUF who has particularly stood out as an exemplary AMA member through her outstanding participation and consistent attendance! A fun fact about her is that she loves going to concerts and coffee shops!
How has your experience in AMA been?
"AMA has been really fun and informative. I learn a lot of professional tips in a fun, creative environment!"
What is your favorite part about being an AMA member?
"My favorite part about being an AMA member is being able to hang out with my fellow AMA members!"
What has been your favorite AMA event so far?
"My favorite AMA event was the Halloween event last semester because it was really fun when everyone was together and the murder plot was so entertaining!"
Melanie Rojas is a second-year Business Administration student at CSUF who has demonstrated significant dedication to AMA through consistent attendance, infectious positivity, and networking like a pro!
How has your experience in AMA been?
"My experience with AMA has been incredible. It has done a well job maintaining a well-rounded approach, having both networking and workshop events as well as social events. I felt welcomed in this club since the moment I joined, which is a reason for my decision to commit to it for this school year. Through AMA, I’ve received the encouragement and opportunity to begin my deeper involvement in clubs such as the CAPS program where I have been given the chance to be the assistant role to the VP of Sponsorship. I’ve also met the most amazing, kind and fun people through this club!"
What is your favorite part about being an AMA member?
"My favorite part of being an AMA member is the workshops given by companies or organizations on campus. Through these they have provided ways for us members connect with and take advantage of the internship or job applications offered. In addition, AMA’s Big/little program has allowed us to become paired up with board members to further connect and build a relationship with, which I really appreciate. I think that by implementing this it will definitely help students feel more welcomed by having someone who they can talk to if they have questions, etc."
What has been your favorite AMA event so far?
"My favorite AMA event so far has been either the Roller Skating, or Bonfire! I lt was my first time roller skating so it was really fun. Honestly, I loved Marketing Week because it was full of events and every social we had gave us a chance to make more friendships with people and talk! 😁"
